Designed and led Cultural Competency Training for nursing students, nurses, emergency medical technicians, health educators and others in delivering culturally competent care to LGBTQI patients. CEUs were offered where applicable.

Designed and led CEU trainings for nurses and social workers in delivering culturally competent care to LGBTQI patients.
Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
Designed and implemented a two-year project – building heart-centered community among Colorado’s isolated gay and bisexual rural populations. Having celebrated its tenth anniversary in June, 2014, this community continues to thrive with multiple gatherings and events each year.
Billy Foundation
Provided leadership and support in countless ways to the Billy community and Foundation for over 25 years. The mission of the Billys is to foster community, intimacy, and personal exploration among gay, bi, and queer men through shared values and heart-centered brotherhood.
Face to Face, Sonoma County AIDS Network
Created a men’s program promoting “Caring for ourselves and each other in all our social and sexual interactions” as an HIV prevention intervention.
Santa Cruz County Public Health Department, Santa Cruz AIDS Project and Mendocino Public Health Department
Designed and led Poz-Neg Gatherings sparking dialogue and understanding between HIV positive and HIV negative men.
